Responsibilities
Mintz is looking for an associate to join our corporate practice in San Francisco. Our San Francisco office is one of the fastest growing offices in the firm and in the Bay Area. We have been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work” by the San Francsico Business Times, noted for our collegial and entrepreneurial culture. We give associates meaningful client exposure and hands-on deal responsibility from day one. We are looking for a business-minded attorney who is excited to work on significant transactions, build lasting client relationships and help shape the continued growth of Mintz’s presence in the Bay Area market.
Candidates should have 2-4 years of transactional experience with the ability to quickly integrate and support the firm’s mergers and acquisitions, securities and venture capital practices. Experience working on private equity transactions is a plus. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced partners and senior associates who are committed to mentoring and professional development, with a clear path toward increasing responsibility and client leadership.
We believe that in-person collaboration strengthens our teams and our client service. Associates work from the office at least 60% of the time, in accordance with the firm's hybrid work guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Must be admitted or eligible for admission in California
- Must have 2-4 years of M&A, securities, venture capital and/or private equity experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities
- Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $310,000. This position is bonus eligible.
