Our Projects & Infrastructure team has decades of experience navigating the complexities of projects across the globe. We help clients accelerate the development of new energy and sustainable infrastructure projects as well as advance innovative business models in the industry, working with clients from project concept through structuring, development, and financing.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our Projects & Infrastructure practice. Candidates must have experience in US project development and finance with distributed and utility scale renewable energy projects; experience with energy storage, wind, solar, renewable fuels, digital infrastructure, or other sustainable infrastructure projects, and with project M&A and tax equity transactions, is a plus. Candidates must also have experience with the principal financing documentation typical in project financings (including purchase agreements, partnership agreements, credit agreements, security and pledge agreements, and depositary agreements) as well as experience with key commercial project documentation (including development agreements, PPAs, EPCs, site control, and interconnection agreements) and related due diligence.
Boston, DC, and NYC are the preferred office locations.
Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm encourages working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's published guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted or eligible for admission in MA, DC, or NY
- 3-5 years of project development and finance experience at a law firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities
- Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The salary range for this position is $260,000 to $365,000. This position is bonus eligible.
